If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. John Quincy Adams
From the Author: Natacha
I do what I do and share what I share to inspire and encourage others. Sometimes we can get discourage when we try to do good and want the best for the people we know and inspire the people we don't know.
I have gotten discouraged a lot when I first started my non-profit organization, accepted the calling on my life and now writing my first book of many to come. The people that you thought will be there for you to encourage you, to help you or just to give a kind word is nowhere to be found. So, when I hear someone say Natacha, you touched me with your post, it makes me continue to do what I do. If, I can touch just one person a day, I did my job.
I know my first book, "From Lost Girl to Virtuous Woman: I'm Still Standing." is released in 2015, I will touch so many with my story. I want to share this letter that was sent out on my behalf.
Here is what she wrote:
I have known Natacha Williams for over 5 years, and during that time we have laughed together and cried together. It has been over many cups of coffee and during many meetings for lunch that Natacha shared her life experiences with me. You see, I was also a teen mother and a single parent, as well as a female who was abused by her partner. Even though I had both my parents at home with me during my childhood, my father was an absentee dad. and my mother spent most of her time worrying about my father's emotional state.
Even though I may be considered a well-educated woman who has a meaningful career, I can say that on many days, that Natacha's life story have touched me in ways that have helped me to cope with my own trials and tribulations.
I currently work as an Associate Professor at a Community College in Raleigh NC. In my profession I have the opportunity to meet a lot of young women that I feel motivated to share Natacha's testimony with.
Personally, I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of her book in which she documents her life story.
Sincerely,
Charmaine Parker
Associate Professor
THIS IS WHY I CONTINUE TO DO WHAT I DO! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE COMMENTED AND ENCOURAGED ME ON MY POST AND I HOPE YOU WILL BUY MY FIRST BOOK AND IT HOPE IT WILL INSPIRE YOU!!!
