Many times, the decisions we make affect and hurt your closest friends and family the most. I have a lot of regrets in that regard. But God has forgiven me, which I am very thankful for. It has enabled me to forgive myself and move forward one day at a time. Lex Luger
Holding on to anger, resentment and hurt only gives you tense muscles, a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth. Forgiveness gives you back the laughter and the lightness in your life.

Forgiveness, in my opinion, is the hardest thing to give especially when someone has hurt you to the core and you feel that there is no way that you can get over this. I have been hurt and I have hurt people in my life. Some have forgiven me, some hasn't and some...I don't know. To error is human, we are not perfect and we will all get hurt or will hurt someone in our life........But, the decision to forgive someone will determine how your life will continue.
Through all the hurt and pain in my life, the things that has been done to me, the words that was spoke about me, the lies that was told on me and the disrespect that I have been given was truly hard for me to bear and I didn't want to forgive the hurt that I endured and it crippled me. It crippled me to the point where I became angry, was sick and just miserable. I begin to give these people power over me because I didn't want to forgive. They probably moved on with their life, living life to the fullest while I was still in the slump of un-forgiveness. I was miserable. See they was POWERFUL...taking control of me and didn't even realize it.
So, I Forgave, I "FORGIVE" you, you , you and you. I begin to free myself from one word at a time, "I"-getting stronger, "Forgive"-pulling myself up out of the slump, "You"-I'm Free from your power.
So, I just want to encourage you to let you know that when you forgive people in your life who have wronged you, anything from leaving you, molesting you, lying on you, stealing from you, cheating on you, or disrespecting, you begin to take your power back. Know that forgiveness doesn't make you weak, stupid or vulnerable but, quite the opposite, it makes you powerful, strong, an overcomer...IT MAKES YOU VICTORIOUS.
When I begin to forgive, then God open up for me to write my first book that is coming out in 2015. There was some people I needed to forgive for the story to come forth. Now I am in the laboring position getting ready to birth what God has put inside of me. "From Lost Girl to Virtuous Woman: I'm Still Standing. By Natacha L Williams

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15
