A problem is only a problem if you refuse to look for a solution. If you don't take action to fix it then it will remain a problem.Catherine Pulsifer

What is the definition of the word problem. Problem is a matter or situation regarded as unwelcome or harmful and needing to be dealt with and overcome. What problems are you facing in your life today? Are you sure you're not the problem.
Yesterday, my husband gave me todays topic and I thought on it all last night. As I thought on it, I realized that it made so much sense. People complain all the time about this and about that but, never have a solution to the problem that they have.
I used to complain all the time about me not having this, not having time to go back to school, wanting to get a job or just changing the way I lived my life. I complained, complained, complained and complained, nothing changed. I had to decide that I had to find a solution to the problem I was complaining about.
1. The Problem-> Not having Time to go back to school. The Solution-> Went to school online and received my Associate Degree.
2. The Problem->Wanting a job. The Solution-> Applied for a job, got a job at a local Community College.
3. The Problem->The way I lived my life. The Solution-> Changed the way I lived and anyone that wasn't for me or added value to my life was cutt off!
Don't be the problem to a situation, try to find the solution to the complaint. Know this, when you don't complain things begin to change. If it's in your power to change the situation, do complain, find the solution and move on.
If you find yourself complaining all the time pray this prayer:
The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
